Our long awaited Wedgewood Family Shop and Coffee Shop is now officially open for business! Selling our range of soft honey nougat, Racefood and Angels biscuits, we serve tea and coffee to those who are keen to see where Wedgewood Nougat began.
Gilly Walters, first started making her delicious soft honey nougat in our family kitchen in 1999, moving to our artisanal factory on the Wedgewood Farm in 2006. Although we have grown in numbers, we are still a family-owned and family-run business and our values haven’t changed. We still make our nougat in small batches, in 32 hands-on-steps, hand cracking only the freshest farm eggs and using only the finest natural ingredients… no fancy automated machines, no artificial nonsense, no shortcuts!
So join us at the Wedgewood Family Shop, on the Birnamwood District Road, Merrivale, KZN. We’ll be waiting for you from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. Come and taste our scrumptious new nougat flavours, buy some Angels biscuits or just enjoy the view. Spend R250 on any product and get a free cappuccino.
